아우슈비츠 수용소 수감자들이 풀려난지 어제로 70주년이라고 했는데<br />
그래서인지 히스토리 채널에서 광고도 없이 줄창 틀어 주더라구요.</p>
<p align="center">
<p align="center">원래 괴기물이나 공포물, 잔혹하거나 불편한 영화를 잘 안 보기 때문에<br />
예전에도 한번 중간에 꺼 버린 적이 있는데 어젠 끝까지 다 보았습니다.</p>
<p align="center">
<p align="center">어릴때 영화를 보다가 무서운 장면이 나오면 그랬듯이,<br />
다 꾸며낸 거라고,</p>
<p align="center">작가가 지어 내고 배우들이 연기하는 것이라고,<br />
그렇게 생각하려고 해봤지만 이 영화만큼은 그럴 수가 없었습니다.</p>

잿빛 게토 거리를 배경으로 어린 소녀의 빨간 코트가 더욱 선명하게 눈길을 끕니다.</p>

<p align="center">그 이유에 대해서 유태계 미국인인 스필버그 감독은 이렇게 설명합니다.</p>
<p align="center"><strong>내게 있어서 색은 생명을 나타내는데 홀로코스트는 빛이 없는 암흑이었다.<br />
흑백으로 찍은 것은 그 때문이다.</strong></p>

<p align="center">빨간 코트만 색을 넣어 돋보이게 한 이유에 대해선 이렇게 말했습니다.</p>

미국 정부의 고위 관료들은 유럽에서 어떤 일이 벌어지고 있는지 이미 알고 있었다.<br />
흑백의 풍경 속을 걸어 가는 아이의 빨간 코트처럼 불 보듯 빤한 일이었다.<br />
독일의 철로를 폭파한다든지 해서</p>

총성 울리는 거리를 정처없이 걷는 빨간 코트의 소녀를 보고 나서였지요.</p>

<p align="center">시신 태운 재는 눈발처럼 흩날려 거리를 덮는데,<br />
리어카에 실려가는 조그만 주검을 빨간 코트로 알아 봅니다.</p>

감독 스필버그는 그녀에게 18살이 되기까지는 영화를 보지 말라고 했지만<br />
그녀는 열한살이 되었을때 영화를 처음 보고 공포에 질렸고,<br />
성인이 되어서 다시 보았을땐 자기가 맡은 역할에 큰 자부심을 느꼈다고 합니다.</p>

캐나다가 당시 아우슈비츠 수감자들 사이에선 &#8216;풍요&#8217;의 대명사였으며,</p>

<p><span style="color: #6a6a6a; font-family: 돋움;">세계적인 인물사진의 거장, 유섭 카쉬 사진전이 2년 만에 더욱 다양해진 구성으로 2011년 3월 26일부터 5월 22일까지 세종문화회관 미술관에서 ‘인물사진의 거장, 카쉬 展&#8217;으로 한국 관객과 재회했다. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6a6a6a; font-family: 돋움;">이번 전시회는 1930년대부터 1990년대까지 4000여장의 카쉬 작품 중 작가의 작품 경향을 살필 수 있는 대표작 중신으로 엄선된 총 100여 점의 작품을 선보였다. 특히, 전시작들은 디지털 프린팅이 아닌 캐나다 유섭 카위 재단이 소장한 카쉬가 직접 만든 오리지널 빈티지 필름으로 소개 됐다. 이는 카쉬가 의도한 메시지를 관객에게 가장 완벽하게 전달할 수 있어 관객의 입장에서 더욱 의미 있는 전시였다.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6a6a6a; font-family: 돋움;">오드리 햅번, 윈스턴처칠, 알버트 아인슈타인 등 이름만 들어도 설레는 20세기 인물들의 내면과 열정, 그리고 영혼을 재발견 할 수 있는 사진 전시회 &lt;카쉬 展&gt;. 더욱 다양해진 구성으로 찾은 &lt;카쉬 展&gt;은 사진 속 20세기 영웅들의 모습을 통해 현재를 살고 있는 우리의 삶을 재 조명해 볼 수 있다는 점에서 더욱 진한 감동을 선사했다</span><br />
