퇴계 이황(李滉)과 권철(權轍)
이황(李滉)과 권철(權轍) 퇴계 이황(1501-1570)은 벼슬을 사양하고 고향에서 제자들을 양성하고 있었다. 하루는 훗날 영의정을 지낸 권철(1503-1578)이 도산서원으로 퇴계 선생을 찾아왔다. 퇴계 이황은 동구 밖까지 나와 예의를 갖추어 정중히 맞이하였다. 두 학자는 기쁜 마음으로 학문을 토론했다. 그런데 식사가 문제였는데 저녁상에는 보리밥에 콩나물국, 가지 잎에 명태 무침이 차려져 있었다. 퇴계 선생은 다른 때와 달리 명태 무침이 나왔으므로 맛있게 저녁을 먹었다....
